ORDER TRANSFERRING JUDGE

LORETTA H. RUSH, CHIEF JUSTICE

The Court has been advised that the Honorable Matthew A. Sheehan, Judge of the Terre Haute City Court, left that office on December 31, 2020, to assume the office of Judge of the Vigo County Superior Five. We find that in the interest of continuing orderly administration of justice, alternative arrangements for a judicial officer in the Terre Haute City Court are necessary. The Chief Administrative Officer, under IC 33-24-6-10 and Administrative Rule 20, has recommended that Judge Sheehan be temporarily transferred to the Terre Haute City Court to facilitate the judicial work of the court.

IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED that Judge Matthew A. Sheehan is temporarily transferred to the Terre Haute City Court, effective January 1, 2021, to facilitate the judicial work of the court until further Order of this Court or a successor assumes the office, whichever occurs first. Judge Sheehan shall have jurisdiction to conduct the business of both the Vigo Superior Court Five and the Terre Haute City Court during the period of this transfer.
