NIX v. STATE.

Appeal from Circuit Court, Independence County; S. M. Bone, Judge.

Bettie Nix was convicted of selling intoxicating liquors, and she appeals.

Affirmed.

JOHNSON, Chief Justice.

Appellant was indicted by the Independence county grand jury for the crime of selling intoxicating liquors, and upon trial to a petit jury was convicted as charged, and her punishment assessed at one year in the state penitentiary, from which this appeal comes.

No bill of exceptions appears in the transcript filed here; therefore, the sufficiency of the testimony to sustain the verdict of the jury and the instruction given and refused by the court cannot be considered by us. Nichols v. State, 181 Ark. 1146, 27 S. W.(2d) 996, State v. Moore, 166 Ark. 499, 266 S. W. 460, Alford v. State, 181 Ark. 1145, 26 S.W.(2d) 576.
