ORDER

On order of the Court, the defendant having filed a request for review of his conviction, this Court, 302 N.W.2d 214, having issued an order to show cause why the defendant's conviction shall not be reversed because this record fails to show that the defendant was notified of his right to a contested hearing, and the prosecutor's pleadings as well as the response having been considered by the Court.

Now, therefore, it is ordered that the request for review be treated as an application for leave to appeal and, pursuant to GCR 1963, 853.2(4), in lieu of granting leave to appeal, we REVERSE the judgment of the Court of Appeals and REMAND this matter to the Recorder's Court for the City of Detroit for a new probation violation hearing....
