DECISION & ORDER
Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Dutchess County (Edward T. McLoughlin, J.), rendered June 5, 2017, convicting him of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence.
ORDERED that the judgment is affirmed.
The defendant's contention that the County Court improvidently exercised its discretion in denying his preplea recusal application is foreclosed by the defendant's valid waiver of the right to appeal (see People v. McMahon, 153 A.D.3d 728, 729, 57 N.Y.S.3d 897 ).
BALKIN, J.P., CHAMBERS, ROMAN, MALTESE and CONNOLLY, JJ., concur.
