PartiesSTATE of Connecticut v. Joseph DAVIS. Supreme Court of Errors of Connecticut

William Barnett, Special Asst. Public Defender, for appellant (defendant).

George D. Stoughton, Asst. State's Atty., with whom, on the brief, was John D. LaBelle, State's Atty., for appellee (state).

Before KING, C. J., and MURPHY, ALCORN, SHANNON and HOUSE, JJ.

SHANNON, Associate Justice.

Taylor, 153 Conn. 72, 214 A.2d 362; State v. Pundy, 147 Conn. 7, 9, 156 A.2d 193; State v. Bill, 146 Conn. 693, 694, 155 A.2d 752.

The main defense was that it was a case of mistaken identity. There was ample...
