An order of this Court having been entered on March 24, 2022 (M-676) continuing defendant's poor person relief and substituting Michele Hauser, Esq., as counsel to prosecute the appeal taken from the order of the Supreme Court, Bronx County, entered on or about July 09, 2021; and defendant having moved to relieve such counsel and to assign other counsel, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon, It is ordered that the motion is granted to the extent of striking the designation of Michele Hauser, Esq., as assigned counsel to prosecute defendant's appeal, and substituting, pursuant to Section 722 of the County Law, Andrew Freifeld, Esq., P.O. Box 3196, New York, N.Y., 10008, Telephone No. 917-553-6030, as such counsel. The poor person relief previously granted is continued, and appellant's time in which to perfect the appeal is extended until 180 days from the date of this order or the receipt of the complete record, whichever is later. No further substitution of counsel is to be permitted absent defendant providing legitimate, detailed reasons for such substitution.
